Logan, highly respecteji religious
worker of Saluda, were held
at Lockhart Baptist Church at 2
o'clock Monday, December 24, with,
interment in the family section in
the church yard^ Mrs. Logan died
Sunday from .the effects of a
stroke of paralysis she had the
preceding Tuesday morning. It
"Was the second stroke she had experienced,
the firs^ haying occured
in November, 1932.
Many friends of both races paid
respects to this Christian-hearte'd
lady; whose unblemished life was
an example for the_ numerous
youths who came "within the scope
?f her influence. Both white and
colored citizens tendered floral offerings"
to the bereaved family.
