Church who preached at the sister church, St. Paul Sunday Sept. 26 reported as having had a nice time. lie was accompanied by h,is wife and children. On last evening the superintendent of the A. C. E. League changed the league service into fo. Young's Peo^ pie's testimonial meeting in which all that were present took a part It was a way in which to get the young people to express themselves. We were very glad to listen to some very interesting remarks by Pi'o. Lamar Bradley, formerly of Kingstree and who has been in attendance at Allen University for a number of years. Everyone seemingly enjoyed the rt>marks pot nnly?because?they were iuteresrting but also because they were- uttered-^from one who is our own?one of the?products of Kingstree, and we all feel proud of him. All the members are ooking cheerfully to put over a big irogram in raising the pastor's saliry. The rally which was called off on ho third Sunday in September was i* success. All the captains however lid their best in pushing it over the ;op. Misses Mary Ella Witherspoon and viola Goodwins who were sent from Ilis church (Bethel) as delegates to he district Sunday School Convention which was held at Hickory Irove A. iM. E.
