They had quite a splendid program. First a paper in behalf of Juveniles, by little Miss * Claretta Kinard. Mistress of Ceremony, Miss Wilsnri. A paper Mrs. Annie Jarrison; Remarks Mrs. Wilson. The sermon was preached by Rev. Owens and if you don't know about the Heroines., rot Rfv. Owens tell you for he has jjlk history arid doesn't have to worry. His text was u taken from Deut. 31st chapter, subject "Be strong and courageous." Tho League convened at 7 o'clock. A very splendid program, was had. At 7:30 Brtr. Delaney had a warm prayer meeting which ftred up the pastor. Even thbugh he had preached two sermons in the afternoon was able to firt up the congregation with the night services.
