AT STATE COLLEGE
Orangeburg, S. C.?The internationaHy
Famous Otlca Jubilee Singers
appeared at South Carolina State
College as the second lyseum attraction
of the summer school. After
having sung for the N. B. C. net
work of the radio, and after having
completed a tour of Europe, the singers
came with one ~0f the best reputations
of any jubilee group in this
country. The continual and prolonged
applause of the large audience was
testimony to the fact that in the program
of Wednesday evening the singers
sustained their fine reputation.
The program was composed entirely
of spirituals anchpopular iars. Both 1
