Rev. K. H. Med ill. Pastor.
Charleston, S. C.-'-The regular morning
worship commenced at 11, o'clock
?1? oil lust Sunday.*?Fulluwing tln^.i/ieliminatvies,
conducted by Rev. . Jacy.b
? White, Senior Deacon, assisted by Rev.
R. M. Turnejf. Rev. White delivered
the mpssaep fit" a creditable sratherimr.
The message was indeed inspiring and
uplifting; and Rev. White acquitted
himself creditably. He is one of
Emanuel's "posts." atul one of the pasr
tor's active aides.
* < Holy Communion was administered
to a host of members." The attendance.
however, was. not as large as,
\ usual, owing to the inclemency of the
> weather during the morning.
It is very amusing as well as interesting
to observe the little folks. How
eager they are to recite their Sunday
School lesson. We have quite a num
- ber of^_ t h^m, and the interest, in a ill*
fested by them exceeds that of some
of the larger scholars.
It appears-that after a boy or a girl
reaches a certaiir size "Jiml age, Sunday
School does not appeal.to them. The
Sunday School is just the place for
young men and young women, as well
?-as^for the tots. ?>uiantiel 1ms quite a'
? host of such peraomj.
On last Sunday! aftern;/on Sunday
School was well attended and the period.
interestingly spent.

Malvina Johnson and a daughter "of,
Emanuel, brought the message of. .lave
and glad tidings during, the evening
hour. Mrs. Johnson has madca good
revival since she started out-on this
great and wonderful career. Her message
was a rou^jng one. <
