morning was hampered on account
of the inclemency of the weather.

ether. Siiice 'man hath naught to

A splendid audience however, was
seated within the confines of Eman- '

by Rev*. 'McGill?ta ipOrtion of the 1
16th chapter of St. Mattliew and the.'

The pastor, a few minutes later" took
his text from *St. 'Matthew 16th chap
ter and 25th verse. Athough the
attendance was small. The pastor
spoke ^as though he were speaking to
a crowded house. It was an inspiring
sermon id 'which the pastor admonished
his hearers to seek that
which will be profitatHe and not to
crave for the things of -ttfis world.
The superintendent Mr. S. L. Jones
was somewhat surprised to see such
a creditable gathering of .children
during the Sunday school session.
However, nothing was curtailed and
the period was 'Interestingly sjp'ent".
