The teachers instructed their class enthusiastically. The pastor,, conducted a splendid review. At 11:30 the pastor brought an inspiring message from I John 3:1b My little children let us not love in words neither in tongue; but Fn deed and in truth. Rev. 13. C. McNeal was the pulpit guest. After the sermon an to join the church, one young man earned Mr, Isaac Parmley. Rev. McNenl offered prayer. This being Com niunioh Sunday, thL- services seemed to be lilted with the spirit. S?*day night the church was very largely attended. The pastor--took his text Jer. 2 4, 5, 6; theme "What thought- have you of God." That was a gospel feast. The membership of our church is small and some are -.airless, but there are a few faithful Tnui will stay by the church. We'arc thankful that our pastor .has served us for over live years and his life has been of such that it has --drawn a sister church, Bethlehem Baptist to .join in with us and help to care for I our pastor. We cannot give so much money but we hope that conditions will-change soon. We endeavored to prove to him Man'day night at the "conclusion bT our od'iciul board that we were in acecnd wjtb-the Sunday School lesson to.love one another; Though the weabroken we gave him a Christnis. an prise when a few of our sisters with the Baptist marched to. the altar with packages of all kinds.
