HANNAH'S A. M. E. CHURCH Newberry District The second nuarterly conference of Hannah's circuit was held Saturday and Sunday, April 11, 12,-1031, with the Presiding Elder, E. A. Adams at his post. The very popular Pastor, Rev. J. M. Hawkins had everythiing in trim and the conference Went ott like eloek-work. He needs much to Ee~ praised for his manner of handling his fpembers and community. O. Mcintosh in company with five of the Agriculture boys motored tp Blackville to take part in the iud<rinr contest held at Macedona School. On Friday night the Adult night ?chool held their closing exercises in the E. C. T. School Chapel. The exhibit were placed in the Home -Economics room. Thev were varied and many. -TKT program was well rendeered by the participants. " At the .close of the exercises the adult class in Honjfc Economics presented their teachers with a rug and a fruit bowl for which she thanked them very much ?nd will always keep as a token from her class.
