RURAL COMMUNITY EXTENDS SCHOOL TERM The people of L^kesland, S C, a rural community iO^or-12 miles from Columbia, are to he congratulated for putting over a program that bears a significant relation to the educational development of this county. For a number of years there was no schoolhouse in- the community, and the cTiureTP?<TospiFe^fTuTTnconvenience of having all classes in one- room, and the lack of blackboard surface?was Used for this purpose.
