Baptist Convention unincooperated.
4 There we met one of the greatest
bodies of its kind in America. There

presidency of the convention. After
contending for a couple of days, Dr.
Hurst, of Kansas City, was declared j
President. After meeting, the breth- I

Dr. J. C. White, of Winston-Salem,!
N. C., and Dr. E. A. P. Cheeks, of j
New York. Dr. White and I had j
had the honor to frace the same pnl. j

Baptist Church, of which the Rev.
Porter W. Phillips, A. M., and D. D.,
is Pastor. Dr.- White preached at
