part has been good, notwithstand

The public schools and colleges
will soon open their doors for another

financial condition will prevent some

The Lockhart school opens Thurs.
Sept. 4th. This-school opens the day
the white schools does and runs as
the same. The trustees are intelligent
white men and do a gopd part
by the colored school. The teachers

patrons for anything.
