Broadiis. __ The sern^on was preached by ah ex ' convict who had' spent 13 years in San Quentin prison in California. The discourse was wonderful, actual ex porienca. Mr. Alderman of Alrnln, R. C., and a number of prominent New L Yorkers were present. Dr. J. Dean Crain, prison chaplain introduced all Dr- D. K. .Tonkins Was-at. his nost ^Rof -duty, after an absence of three ^Sundays because of infected, eyes, an<l ^Rionducted the opening and closing e~x^UmciSes.
