church was a big day. , The Rt. Rev.

.Methodist Bishop of South Carolina,
preached at 11:30 o'clock, to an appreciative
audience. He stirred the
whole congregation and set the house
on fire; not a stone was left unturned.
He was accompanied by his wife, Mrs.
K..Bertha Hurst, one who has proven

occasion. We really enjoyed the
many forceful sermons delivered by
this God sent man. Her wno indeed
a power in the pulpit. Through his
many powerful discourses many men
and women were moved to wonder about
their souls' salvation. Rev. J. M.
Marshall always brings to us the very
best preachers for which we thank
him and hope for him many more
years of service at the Good Hope
Baptist church.
The Sunday School Convention of
the Lovely Hill District met at the
Jerusalem B. P. church Gr'oVers, S. C.
was very much a success. We were
glad to welcome the visitors and all
expressed themselves as having enjoyed
the occasion.
Miss Anna L. Qveratreet, a member
of the State College faculty has returned
to the college to resume her
work. We miss Miss Overstreet very
much and wish for her much success
during her -yirar's work.

from her vacation where shg visited
New York City, and other points
North. Miss Overstreet's "pupils will
regret very much to hear that she is

the teachers of our school here is on
the sick list. We wish for her a speedy
recovery.
