JOHN BAPTIST CHURCH With much hospitality the Senior Missionary Society was royally entertained at the home of Mrs. Boulware on last Friday afternoon. It Was a very warm afternoon, nevertheless the meeting was we'll carried out by tho president. The prbgrani as outlined was carried out in full., live president of the Junior 'group favored tis with a spiritual which was entitled: "I lpve the- Lord down in my heart." Verses from the Bible weip repeated by each?member?beginning with the letter O. Different ones-made helpful remarks to keep the meeting interesting. .Our purpose is to keep on doing mission work?as lorrg-aswe?1 rve. No matter how much courage, grit and determination it may take, when others are trying to wave us aside. We will resolve that wo are going to join the ranks of those who are making fast progress for the kingdom of God. JOHN BAPTIST CHURCH After many hard showers of rain on last Tuesday afternoon, we were highly entertained by Miss Castor, at hut htnni1 on Beaumont Ate. It conffnifed to rain throughout tTTe" after^ jloon, but the Junior group being so loyal to the Society came in the rain. The meeting was very . interesting A * . and instructive. The usual interest^ ing program was carried- out. Many: new plans were discussed for the good of the Society. We are .homing to work as never before. At every meeting some one has- thought of something to interest the Socelfyl On last Sunday afternoon four girls from the Junior group rendered a program at the City Missionary Union.
