treatment from thedriedical experts
of John Hopkins University was received."
But in spite of all that was
done it was the will .of the divine that

The Tate family was a model- one
in many respects, besides being one
of the best known it had the distinction
of being one of the largest.
There" were born to this couple ten
children: five girls and five"boys", and
all of them. Pave been brought wj to
manhood and womanhood. The youn
gest one was twenty years old the
~ day of the death of his mother. The
parpnts sa\v to it these children were
educated in many of the best .colleges
and universities in this country. Two
of the sons are now,students' at the
University of Michigan* The gldest
daughter is the wife - ot President
Trent of Livingstone College, one. is

are equally well placed in life and
