# NOTES
Many beautiful lessons might have
been drawn from the lesson text and
subject matter of th& Sunday school-!
lesson Sunday. If we should apply I
some of these lessons we would not (
fail to, .take wholesome advice at any ,
time; we would regard and respect j
?our superiors^we would give others-,
A chance to help us and we would |
follow as freely as we lead. The lesson
was interestingly taught in the
: usual manner; after which Mr(> H. J.
Bryant conducted a very helpful review
"of. the lesson. .
At- 11:15 many had assembled in
auditorium for the continuation
>f the services'"of the day including
many visitors and friends. Dr. E. A.
Adams asked-fo'r the' Hunds ol all who
had ever put money"in any bank;
he then selected Phillippians-- 4^19:
"But my God shall supply all (y\our
jgeeds according to his riches in glpr>
Christ Jesus.'* Discussing Bank
ing on earth and Banking in heaven.
When and what to deposit. Third.
Hnw^ draw and .when to draw qn
: ^our depusits.?(The same being, tru^
with your account on earth as in
heaven, if* you hayd made no deposits
there, is nothing. for yoi^lto
draw on.) Further asserted?Many
persons ^ire,, nOedcd'.'as Presidents and
assistants t0 manage , your accounts
here, but in heaven no help is nuoded.
God himself will manage all ac'
counts of every one: on dearth eer-ta '
hours' are observed, in heaven any
hour you will; you many call upon
< Him and deposit not money, but sacrifices
acceptable and pleasing to God,
honesty, uprightness, just acts, good
deeds and love toward t your follow
man?these are deposits and to draw
* simply?askin -faith?humbly and regardless
to how's or occasions He
will pour out upon v>s rich blessings
so that all our needs will Be supplied.
To say the least the ssjerYnon was
a masterpiece.
At 4 p. m., a very successful Pctv~
Rally1 was had under the auspices of
Stewardess- Board No. 2. The sermon
was preached by Rev. Mrs. Mary
Williams, text taken from St. Matt.
22 chapter and a part of the 42nd
verse: <4<What Think ye of Christ?"
He?was beautifully .pictured as,. 1st,
a Dtictor; 2nd, as a Lawyer; 3rd, as
an Orator; 4th as a Judge; and 5th,
-as our Savior. The Board realized
$.'11.00 by the undertaking.
