Tinchot declared that the equipment
ofjthe school was antiquated
and inadequate, and that students
of the school could obtain
the same educational advantages
by attending -any city high
school:
This was denied Wednesday by
Dr. Anderson, who claimed that
.the school is doing work entirely
apart from the public night
schools, and that the majority
of their students are "adults from
