their incipient symptoms to those in wine!
they have assumed the chronic form. Tlii
remedy ond the treatment prescribed to ai
company the taking of the medicine, have th
sanction of years of successful application ii
private practice. It was not suduenly iiit o1
ok, nor ureamed of, but is the assertion of fact
and experiments collected in the doilv round
of duty as a practising physician, and" is givei
to the public in a popular form, in the hope
ns in the belief, that it will not fail in givin;
relief to the sufferer from Dyspepsia and al
other diseases having their origin in the stom
nch, in any instance where the directions an
properly attended to. It is entirely dissimila:
to any nnd every preparation of the kind now
before the people. The originator entertaining
n?w? uiiu opinions somewhat at vnnnncc will
the prescribed notions among medical men gen
orally as regards the nature of thesis diseases
lias in this preparation Wrought, together modi
cal agents of known utility and worth in tlx
form of a new combination, making a compottm
altogether and entirely new, and one that wiu
not fail to euro in the most aggravated anil
stubborn cases of the diseases referred to, pro
viding the medicine is properly taken, and al
the accompanying direct ions followed out.
The undersigned is well aware that the same
encouragement has been given, and the sain*
promises have already been made over ami
over again by manufacturers of patent medi
cines as regards their different preparations,
and the only voucher lie has to offer for the en
rative qualities of this preparation is the reputation
of success in "Chronic Cases," that he
gained throughout middle (ieorgia, while in
the practice of his nrofe?ion tl<>
for the purpose of giving additional weight to
whatever lie may say as regards thin new preporation,
heg to refer tu the fnct tlint. he is the
originator, manufacturer, nnd proprietor oi
the medicine known as "J.\con's t'oRin.\i," the
curative properties of which in Cholera, Dysenter}*
and Diarrhea is now being 'proclaimed
by thousands in every section of the conutry,
and as being all that, lie ever said of it.
Dyspepsia, like <*out, may be said to be a
fashionable disease; it, more readily than any
other, in various of its forms, and to it greater
extent, finds its victims in the wealthy and aristocratic
circle*, especially iu cities, and its inflidious
workings are often the real though undiscovered
cause of the sallow cheek, the dull,
heavy eye, and the general inertia; indisposition
to either mental or physical effort, which
are erroneously attributed to other causcs. As
a remedy iu Dyspepsia, this preparation stands
at the head of all others iu estiilil!?hiiur n
healthy and vigorous action of the various or
gnus, nnd restoring to their nnturnl functions
those orgnns which have been prevented by
this disease.
NERVOUS SUFFERERS : This Preparation
is also particularly recommended to you, as
vrell as to those suffering from Diseased Liver.
In weak and debilitated systems, it will be
found pos&c?*ing tonic properties to n preeminent
degree, and very ndmirahly adapted
to a large portion of the female sex whose debilitated
and worn out constitutions require an
artificial restorer.
BLISS' DYSPEPTIC REMEDY is put up in
