Poor House Elections.
THE Commissioners of the Poor f<w? Abbeville
District will rcceive proposals for a
Steward of the Poor House nnd Overseer of
the Farm, and also for a Physician, for the
year 1866. The 8te\vard will have the care
nnd management of the pnupers, and he will
be required to labor on the farm. The Physician
will be required to attend to the health
of the inmates of the Poor House, and to furnish
his own medicines. Proposals will be received
by any one of the Commissioners up to
the 24th of November next, on which day the
