Fever is the Southwest.?The last
mails bring us news that yellow fever has
appeared in Montgomery, and that there
have been a considerable number of cases
in Mobile. Hut this only shows the tendency
of the disease to spread by intercourse.
The lateness of the season retains it next
to impossible that it should extend much
further, or that it should commit any serious
ravages in those cities.
