A Proposition.?We are authorized by a gentleman of high standing, and an old line Whig, to say that ho will be one of ten thousand men to pay a lunidrod dollars each to raise a fund to settle Southern men in Kansas. It strikes us as an excellent idea. Let this be done and it settles the character of that territory beyond question?cannot the ten thousand be found in Georgia ? and cannot a lniudred thousand in the Southern States? It would be well for an organization to be formed in every county in the South to raise a fund for this purpose.
