Land for the Million!
THE Act of Congress of March 3d, 1855,
gives additional Bounty Land to all who
have heretofore received land for military services.
All who have 6erved fourteen da\'s, or
rcd?ived pay in money for their services, are
entitled. We have, by five years'practice in
cluims against the U. S. Government, become
perfectly acquainted with all the minute rules
and practice of that Department, and are well
known to the Commissioner of Pensions. We
will attend promptly to all claims entrusted to
up. As three hundred thousand persons nre
entitled under .this huv, there will be great delay
in issuing them, and it is therefore highly
important that application be made without
lelav.
We will also pay cash for tlio Warrants, or adranee
raonev upon them.

by the renowned horse Sir Archy; his dam
Eliza, own sister to the celebrated running
horse Gallatin, by imported . Bedford. Jocasbee's
dam was got by Bedford, a descendant
from the renowned Kirksey'o colt, and he by
the imported Bedford ; his grand-dam by Phenomenon,
and he by Sir Archy; his g. g. dam
by Leopnrd, and he by the celebrated Quicksilver,
a horse of great renown in his day.
From this pedigree it will at once appear
that .locassee has descended from a pure ancestry.

Waverly, the sire of Jocassee, stands unrivalled
at the present day in this country, having obtained
a premium in 1844 at Greenville, and
also at Newberry in 1846, also at Pendleton
and Anderson, being the best stallion exhibited
