LIKE AN ELECTRIC 7
BUTTON ON TOES
Tells why a corn is so painful and ^
says cutting makes g
them grow j
Press an electric button and you ^
form a contact with a live wir^ which \
rings the bell. When your shoes press
against your corn it pushes its sharp y
roots down upon a sensitive nerve and
you get a shock of pain.
Instead of trimming your corns,
which merely makes them grow, just ^
step into any drug store and ask for -ig
a quarter of an ounce of freezone.
This will cost very little but is suf
ficient to remove every hard or sa?t r~
corn or callus from one's feet. A few
drops applied directly upon a tender,
aching corn stops the soreness instantly,
and soon the corn shrivels up so
it lifts right out, root and all without
pain. This drug freezone is harmless
and never inflames or even irritates
the surrounding skin.

REMARKABLE STORY

Made "In Just a Little While"
"Yes, I was actually afraid to look

bout it," said Mrs. Annie L. Marshall,
f 313 Lafayette St., Schenectady, N.
., as she began a remarkable story.
"I was pale and thin and used to
e awake at night," she explained.
This sleeplessness and nervousness
nally affected my throat, as I could
ot speak above a whisper. The least
>und frightened me and I got so I
>uld not bear to have people talk
? me.
"I was so weak I could not do my
ork, and I would have to throw my;lf
on the bed before I finished. I
ist suffered all the time and there
;emed to be no joy in life for me.
[y sister told me about Tanlac, a new
edicine for weak, run down people,
nd begged me to take it. I had no
lith in it, I had tried so many medines,
but I knew I could not feel any
orse, so I got a bottle of Tanlac.
"And, oh, what a change! I began
> feel better right away, and my apetite
increased as I ate three good
leals a day of really nourishing food,
began to sleep soundly. As I began
> build up, my color became better,
iy eyes brighter and I gained weight,
oon the neighbors began to speak of
iy improved appearance. My nerousness
gone, I began to enjoy hear
IK people talk and like their company.
; was no task to do my housework,
nd after I had done it I could dress
p and go calling or to the movies. It
as so different, and it all occurred in
ist a little while."
