Our club attended Field Day in
Jnion Friday. The exercises at the
ligh school was certainly fine and a
arge crowd attended these exercises,
11 the working clubs were represented V
n the stage by Miss Alsie Smith and
diss Mamie Oetzel. The program
k'as carried out in fine shape to show ~
vhat the girls and boys are doing
hroughout the county, and to show
hat everybody is interested in
vinning the war by growing plenty of
ood stuff. At 33:0 o'clock the athetic
contest was held at the City Park. ^
One of the amusing parts of tike
norning exercises was the poultry
lub as they rushed on the stage catting
and crowing to join the ot' er
dubs singing "Keep the Home Fi les p
burning." Then all sang "The ? Wr
spangled Banner."
