Everyody is very anxious to get their coton planted. There will be lots planted his week. Our club attended Field Day in Jnion Friday. The exercises at the ligh school was certainly fine and a arge crowd attended these exercises, 11 the working clubs were represented V n the stage by Miss Alsie Smith and diss Mamie Oetzel. The program k'as carried out in fine shape to show ~ vhat the girls and boys are doing hroughout the county, and to show hat everybody is interested in vinning the war by growing plenty of ood stuff. At 33:0 o'clock the athetic contest was held at the City Park. ^ One of the amusing parts of tike norning exercises was the poultry lub as they rushed on the stage catting and crowing to join the ot' er dubs singing "Keep the Home Fi les p burning."
