several weeks, left Saturday afternoon

Griffin, making the trip by motor.
Mr. J. M. Morgan of Inman has purchased
from E. F. Kelly and Bno. the
"Nick Harris Home Place" and will
move with his family there about
Christmas. Mr. Morgan has theleputation
of being a wide-awake and progressive
farmer. We welcome them
in our midst.
Mrs. Frank G. Potts (Annabel Johnson)
arrived in Union on Wednesday
to spend sometime with relatives. Her

at the University of South Carolina
before enlisting.

the marriage of Miss Elizabeth McMaster
and Lieut. John Douglass Harrison
of the Medical Reserve Corps, U.
S. A., which occurred at the home of
the' bride in Winnsboro, on Tuesday

Morgan Rice, Mr. and Mrs. C. H.
Peake, Mrs. George Perrin and Misses
Mary Perrin and Virginia Lee Poole of
