DEATH OF B. M. D1CKERS0N.
Benjamin Mobley Oickerson died at
his home near Shelton after an illness
of three weeks with typhoid fever on
the t'?fch inst., in the 47th year of his
ape. He was a successful farmer and
by industry tfnd thrift had acquired a
nice home, where he lived on the
fruits of Iris labor. The deceased was
better known by his friends and acquaintances,
of which he had a larpe
cfrcle, as Bob Diekerson. He was an
affectionate and indulgent husband
and father, a kind and oblipinp neiphbfU".

The deceased leavea a wife and one
daughter, Sallie Selle, an aged fdther
and mother, Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Dicleerson
and the following brothers and
sisTer: J. Butler and W. Frank Bickerson
of Union county, J. Henry Diekerson
and Mrs. T. Free of Fairfield
county, and many other relatives and
friends in Fairfield and Wnion counties.
He was laid to rest la the Cool
Branch Baptist church cemetery, the
funeral services being conducted by
his pastor, Kev. E. D. Weils, in the

DEATH OF W. H. GREGORY.
Mr. W. H. Gregory, after an illness
of 13 weeks, died at Monarch mills
and was laid to rest at Sardis cemetery
June 2, 1917. He was 60 years
of age and is survived by his wife
and four children, as follows: John,
Austell, Corrie Jane rfnd Mike. He
had three brothers, Jim of Spartanburg,
John Edd of Wilkesville, Mahalia
Austin of Fairfield, and one sis- i
ter, Marion. He was a member of j

were conducted by Rev. J. H. Brown.
