Atlanta, Ga. Dr. F. A. Jacobson
says that Phosphates are just as essential
to any man or woman who tires
easily, is nervous, or irritatable, worn
out, or looks haggard and pale to make
a strong, robust, vigorous healthy
body, as they are to cotton to make it
grow. The lack of Phosphate is the
cause of all enemic conditions and the
administration of 5-grain Argo-Phosphate
tablets will increase the strength
and endurance of weak,nervous, care
worn men and women 300 per cent, in
"two or three weeks time in many instances,
and their continued use will
build up the whole nervous system,
and give new life, vim, vigor, and vitality
to the whole body. I always
prescribe Argo-Phosphate to patients
who are pale and colorless, and it is
surprising to see how quickly a few
weeks treatment will transform a pale
face to a rosy cheeked beauty. There
can be no rosy cheeked, healthy, beautiful
women, without their system is
sufficiently supplied with Phosphates.
In recent interviews with physicians
on the grave and serious consequences
of a deficiency of Phosphates in the
blood of American men and women, I
have strongly emphasized the fact that
doctors should prescribe more phosphates
in the form of Argo-Phosphate
for weak, worn out, haggard-looking
men and women. When the skin is
pale, and flesh flabby, it is a sign of
anema. When the phosphates go from
the blood, the pink cheeks go too. The

Jonesville, May 29.?The weather is

oor prospect the people are having

"Tanlac is the only remedy that
ever helped me and it was just the
remedy I needed. I certainly can
praise it," declared Mrs. H. E. Moore,
of Piedmont, S. C., in a statement she
gave in endorsement of Tanlac. "I
suffered from nervous indigestion for
the past several years and very badly
during the past two years. I was
rapidly getting worse, too, when I began
taking Tanlac. I was in such
bad health that I was miserable all
the time. I was subject to bad headaches,
too, and sleeplessness troubled
me a lot. Many a night I've rolled
in bed nearly all nijrht. I had about
come to the conclusion I was not going
to get any better, for all the medicine
I had taken had failed to give
me lasting results, when I heard of
Tanlac.
"The Tanlac gave me just the results
I wanted. My appetite came
back soon after I started taking it and
soon I was feeling well. My nerves
were soon in fine shape, my blood got
to circulating well and I have not
had one of those smothering spells
since I took Tanlac, and I never wake
up now with my body dumb like I frequently
used to do. Tanlac is a great
medicine."

A LETTER FROM REV. GARVIN.
Whitmire, S. C., May 28, 1017.
Union Times:
1 noticed in your paper that I was
in Clinton, S. C., assisting Rev. CJ. (I.
Wilbanks in a meeting. This was a
mistake for at the time I read it Dr.
Ray Palmer, one of the Home Board
evangelists, was here with me in a
series of meetings.
Brother Wilbanks wanted me to assist
him but I could not, at the time
he wanted me, owing to previous
promises. So he had the assistance
of Rev. W. E. Ferqueron.
Brother Rice, the latest from the
doctors say that if nothing happens
tney teel sure the son can soon leave
the hospital for home, as he has
greatly improved since going there.
I hope your and my many friends
over in Union are well and happy.
This leaves myself and family as well
as usual.
The many friends of Mr. J. M. Milwood
will be much grieved to know
that his aped mother had the misfortune
to have a cane stuck in the
corner of her eye yesterday by a little
grandson. It was purely accidental
and the little boy who did it is deeply
gri< ved to know he hurt his grandmother,
whomthey all love so much.
The doctor was called; he hopes
she will not lose the sight although it
gives her much pain. But we all
pray that she may soon get well
again.
Our church and Sunday school work
; here seems to be going along very
well. I occasionally trouble the
water. Pray for us; come and see us
and preach for us. May God bless you
and His cause in our State.
I D. W. Garvin.
