The Union Township Highway Commission,
which is composed of the following
men: Geo. W. Going, E. W
Stone, J. B. Betenbaugh, G. P. Godshall,
T. K. Foster, J. T. Bradley unci
A. G. Kennedy met this morning it

at 9 o'clock and organized and elected

Stone secretary of the commission.
Matters of a preliminary naturt
were taken up by the commission and
disposed of. The commission decided
that before it made any definite plan?

the commission and discuss the proposition
in this township fully and advise

The commission will advertise the
bonds for sale as prescribed in the bill
at an early date.
The chairman of the Union Highway
Commission voices the sentiment
of the entire commission when he
makes the following statement: We
are going to stand for economy and
efficiency and do our best to give the
taxpayer a dollar's worth of road for
every dollar spent, and with that end
in view earnestly ask the hearty cooperation
of all the property owners
to assist us in the task before us.
