of the Confederacy, were entertained
Friday afternoon by Marion
Mixson at a Valentine party. The
rooms were draped with Confederate
flags, garlands and hundreds of red
hearts.
The literary program was devoted
to Dee and Jackson and was short as
the election of officers for the year
was to be held.

The Ruests were invited to the dininR
room, where delicious refreshments
were served from a table decorated
with flaRS and red heaves, the
place cards were tiny red hearts, tied
with red and white ribbons.

of every one present was shootinR at
a biR heart. The prize for the best
marksmanship was won by Whitfield
Jordan.
