The brilliant little campaign in Darn_ fur which ended with the defeat by 0f the British troops of Sultan Ali Dinar (p on May 22 will bring under British domain about 160,000 square miles of territory inhabited by a population estimated at between 2,000,000 and 4,000,000. Descendants of the Sultan "" Mohammed have ruled in the country n" for approximately 400 years.
