JONESVILLE
Jonesville, Jan. 3.?Forty-six yea
apo yesterday my wife and I stood
the bridal altar at Woodstock, (la., ai
were made husband and wife by Re
Miles Puckett. From that day unt
the present our lives have been one <
love, peace, joy and happiness. N
discord has entered our happy horn
For the past ten days I have been
very sick man, during which time
have had three doctors to examine
and they have all told me that I coul
never get well, which is the touches
news I have ever had put up to m<
At this writing I am some better an
able to be up about the house, but m
condition is serious. For the past 3
years I have been a regular corre
spondent of the Union Times and t
write for this issue has become lik
second nature, but it seems that T wil
have to lay my pen down and retire,
have had many assurances and ex
pressions of friendship all aloni
through the past years, but more es
pecially this Christmas tide. Thes
expressions have come from Baltimore
to New Orleans and Texas and I real
ize how nice it is to have friends ant
to all these friends I wish to conve;
through this correspondence irr
thanks and well wishes for a pros
perous and happy life. Being confine<
to my home I am unable to give th<
current news of my town and com
munity. I hope some one will take uj
a correspondency from Jonesville am

TRY "CASCARETS" FOR
LIVER AND ROWELS
IF SICK OR BILIOUS
Tonicrht! Clean %'? o >- ?->

Stop Headache, Colds, Sour
Stomach.
Get a 10-cent box now.
Turn the rascals out?the headache,
biliousness, indigestion, the sick, sour
stomach and bad colds?turn them out
tonight and keep them out with Cascarets.
Millions of men and women take a
Cascaret now and then and never
know the misery caused by a lazy
liver, clogged bowels, or an upset
stomach.
Don't put in anotmer day of distress.
Let Cascarets cleanse your
stomach; remove the sour, fermenting
food; take the excess bile from your
liver and carry out all the constipated
waste matter and poison in the howels.
Then you will feel great.
A Cascaret tonight straightens you
out by morning. They work while
you sleep. A 10-cent box from any
drug store means a clear head, sweet
stomach and clean, healthy liver and
bowel action for months. Children
love Cascarets because they never
gripe or sicken.
