Clement and Misses Ida Clement and Etha Palmer have rotnrned from a ten days stay at Wrightsville Beach. Miss lone Littlejohn, who has been visiting Mrs. T. C. Duncan for several days, will leave soon for Dillon to visit Mrs. Thad Bethea, until Jter school opens at Mullins. Rev. A. T. Stoudenmire, pastor of he Bugalo Baptist church, has returned from a week's stay at Dallas, N. C., and is this week conducting services at Hebron Bantist church. Messrs. Ernest Foster and Haroiu Drew have returned from a visit to Atlanta. They made a record trip, coming from Atlanta to Union in eight hours without an accident. Mr. R. C. Miss Kate Roseborough. who has been the guest of relatives in Union, left last week for Chester, accompanied by Misy Emma McLure ,togetner they will visit in that city for several weeks. Mr. John W. Wilbanks of Cros< Keys has accepted the position with the Citizens Bank as bookkeeper. M*. Wilbanks is a recent graduate of Carolina, and is a young man of sterling character. Rev. I"). W.
