Will You Do It?
The children of the Odd Fellows'
orphanage at Greenville will spend
Saturday in Union as the guests of
the Union county Odd Fellows. There
is to be a picnic given for their benefit
at the Central school grounds on
that day.
Mayor Wharton asks that the own
ers of automobiles in the city unite in
giving these visiting orphan children
a free trip Saturday afternoon at
4:.10 to 5:.'J0. All who will agree to
do this for these children are requested
to phone Mayor Wharton of their
willingness to comply. There will be
about forty of the children. If you
are the owner of a car, will you not
assist in the effort to give these boys
and girls a grand time?
