Prof. Tate made a fine talk to a large gathering of people and all seemed to enjoy his opeech. Mr. Tate is anxious to help build up the rural schools, giving them better houses and wants to see more appropriations made for schools, and we hope to realize more funds for our schools and hope our legislature will remember we need this. Mrs. T. M. Tweed has been better for the past week. Mrs. Mary Gault and dauerhter. Miss Lela Gault have moved to Union to make their future home. Mr. W. G. Gault has bought his father's old home place. Thanksgiving day was observed in this section and enjoyed by everybody.
