He it ordained by the Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Union, S. C., in council assembled, and by authority of the same: Section 1.?That within thirty (30) days from passage of this Ordinance, the Southern Railway Company shall be and are hereby required to properly drain their tracks at Mam street crossing in the city of Union, S. C., said drainage to be done in such a manner as will be to the entire satisfaction of City Council. Section 2.?That the Southern Railway Company shall properly and safely flag each and every train or light engine at crossings of Church street, Academy street and Pinckney street, in shifting, coming in and going out of City of Union, S. C. Section 3.?That for each day's failure to comply with this Ordinance the offender shall be fined not less than Five ($5.00) Dollars, nor more than Twenty ($20.00) Dollars, or be imprisoned not exceeding Thirty (30) days for each day so offending, at the discretion of Mayor or City Council.
