D. Mosely in Laurens Tuesday mornin.
Two horses and two cows were

is some late planting.
This writer attended the quarterly
meeting at Bogansville church last
Sunday, the 13th, and enjoyed hearing
a good sermon by the presiding
elder, after which all were invited
to the grove, where the good ladies
spread out a bountiful dinner. We
went by West Springs, and drank
some of that good mineral water.
Crops in that section are looking
fine.
We met the mother of Mr. Oscar
Lancaster and other relatives of his
who are in great trouble and sorrow
over his sad death which happened
last week, by his being killed by the
train. Mr. Lancaster was born and
reared near West Springs. The family
have my deepest sympathy.
Miss Lila Burnett, of Spartanburg,
visited Misses Lela and Lula Gault
Saturday and Sunday.
Mr. J. E. Vinson and family spent
Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. J. G.
Garner.
Mr. and Mrs. R. L. White attended
church at Mt. Joy Sunday.
Miss Mary Tweed visited Misses
Florence and Corrie Haney Sunday.
Miss Myrtle Gault visited Miss
Bessie Kelly, Saturday and Sunday,
and attended the convention at Mt.
Joy church Sunday.

has returned to her home after
spending a few weeks with her sister,

The girls of the three Tomato
Clubs met at the home of Mr. M. C.
Gault on the 8th. Miss Alsie Smith
gave some demonstration work on ,
canning and they all had a box dinner
in the grove and they all enjoyed
a good time.

Miss Florence Haney went to Union
today to do some shopping.

While at the home of Mr. Dan
Gallman, he showed me around his

1742, general school law for the
purpose of voting 2 1-2 mill levy for
