Some Interesting Statistics From the Report of the Solicitor. t < The annual report of Solicitor Otta ] for the seventh judicial circuit to the ( comptroller general has been com- { pleted. 1 For Spartanburg County 141 cases were iriea in tne criminal courts as | compared with 164 for 1911, which s shows a decrease of 13 cases. For the circuit 210 cases were disposed , of in 1912, which is a decrease over the business of 1911 by 19 cases. In both Cherokee and Spartanburg counties there has been a decrase in crime, while in Union the increase has been slight. This announcement was made tolight by Harvey Granger, representative of the Savannah Autonobile club, who, with a comnittee of five other Georgians conferred this afternoon with the Motor Dups Holding Company committee. Gibbes Dies in Greenville (Greenville Daily News) Mrs. Sarah Francis Gibbes died at her home, 204 Rhett street, at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Gibbes was Miss Sarah Francis Cunningham of Union county and was born March 25, 1930. She was married to Mr. S. S. Gibbs July 12, 1855. They at once came to Greenville where Mr. Gibbs was engaged in house building. Mrs. Gibbs was a devoted member of the First Presbyterian church. At the time of her death was the oldest member of her church, having been a member for 57 years. She is survived by her husband, Mr. S. S. Gibbs, her only daughter, Mrs. A. K. Park, son-in-law, Mr. A. K. Park, two grand children, Mr. John A. Park and Miss Estelle Park. Mrs. Alice Ferguson, Mrs. W. H. Cely of Greenville, Mrs. Carmical of Arkansas and Mrs. J. N. Martin of Newberry are nieces. The funeral services will be held at the First Presbyterian church Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. DECIDE YOURSELF.
