Years ago, Mr. Weir remembers, \e rejoiced in the little trousers and :oat simply because he liked the fury smoothness of the material. But oday, he prizes the Vemnants, naturilly, for an entirely different reason. One of Mr. Weir's uncles, was n ichoolmate and boyhood friend of Voodrow Wilson. When they left ichool they exchanged gifts of friendihip, and Woodrow Wilson gave Mr. Velr's uncle the smoking jacket, hen one of his proudest possessions.
