Mr. Arthur Vanghan spent Saturday night and Sunday with Mr. Bennle Adame. Mack, the small eon of Mr. W. F. Farr, had the misfortune to get accidentally shot Saturday afternoon. He and another small boy were playing with a pistol. He Is In a very critical condition, hut we hope for him a speedy recovery. Several of the people attended the speaking at Union Saturday. This writer has been to several unvellings but he has never seen a more impressive one, than that at Beulah. Sovereign Hill of Spartanburg delivered t he address and a small girl recited the poem, which was very beautiful. Ml. Tabor Dots. Mt. Tabor, April 10.?Mrs. Fannie Baldwin and Mrs. Nancy Edge spent last Thursday with Mrs. Calvert. The Tabor people were never known to be more social than they are at present. This Is all dne to the good Sunday School work and ladies prayer Band, which Is growing as fast as oould be expected. We have a Home Department In our Bunday School. Mrs. J. L. Calvert Is at the head of this and Is doing faith ful work. Miss Belle Moorhead gave an egg hunt at her school bonse last Friday afternoon, all enjoyed it very much. Miss Minnie Bowie also gave an egg bunt. Mr. and Mrs. Simpson, Mrs. Nancy Edge and Miss Maud Baldwin were there to enjoy the hunt. We are glad to say our flag has floated one week and hands off, as It has been confined to the pole at night Mrs. Sarah Cannon of Atlanta, Ga., Is visiting her parents at this place. Miss Hattle Askew has returned home from her school and we are alcessful year's work. We are glad to welcome her back. From all appearances we think cupld has pierced his heart. Mr. Walter Haines went to Newberry Saturday on very important business. We do not think he had heart failure as he returned on Sunday. Miss Mildred Askew came home Friday. Misses Belle and Violet Moorhsad spent Saturday in Union shopping.
