If It stays this way It will not be long before farmers will begin to plow. We had a very hard rain Thursday night and Friday. A great deal of damage was done to land. The creeks and rivers nave been very nign. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sill of Wrlghtsvllle spent Monday afternoon and night with Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Farr. The Misses Palmer spent Sunday afternoon with Miss Nettle Vaughan. Messrs. Will Robinson and Robert Palmer spent Saturday night with Mr. Robert Vaughan. Messrs. Lem Vaughan, Dock Vaughan.and Bob Qreor spent Saturday night with Mr. J. P. Vaughan. Pnv. J. L. People have begun to take up their sweet potatoes and they are badly rotten. Potatoes are going to be very 1 scarce around here. The roads have been very bad but are geting some better. If it stays dry and warm it will not be long before they will be fine. Farmers are beginning to plow up terraces now.
