The Williams Comedy Co. have been playing here this week and the patronage has been very good considering the inclemency of the weather. This is a company of clever people and their plays should receive a large, patronage wherever I they go. Mr. T. 1'. DeCiafferelly, the proprietor, is a courteous and pleasant man as well as a fine actor., The performances are clean and upto-date, the specialties are new and spicy, and each member is well adapted for their respective parts. Dick Mason is a clever comedian and his stunts keep the audience in a continuous uproar. Little May Blossom Williams is a "peach" and will some day become a "star" in the theatrical world. The Williams sisters are well known to the people of Union and are always well received. Marie DeGafferelly, in "The Unwritten Law," made quite a hit here; she is a fine actress and deserves a high place in the theatri cal held. Rowland Pittman was in r town Saturday and Sunday to see u home folks before starting on a trip across the continent. Mr. Pittman ' has decided to go to Pasadena, California, to go into the real estate bus() iness. He will be associated with # Mr. Hcllama, of Greenville, who has been in the real estate business l8 in Greenville for some time. Mr. y Henry McGee, Jr., will accompany Mr. Pittman on his trip to California. Pasadena, the place to which !j they expect to go, is one of the places noted for its tourists' hotels, ^ some of the largest and finest of ' these hotels in the State being located there, and is a suburb of Ix>s [ Angeles, the metropolis of Southern ' California.?Greenwood Index.
