REFORT OF HON. MAjfelETH YOUNG

This is meant morel as a verification of
the reports of Mr. 11. L. Seaife and Mr.
H. Ij. Kisenhart than ilea rei?ort by myself.
I accompanied ^lr. Seaife to Mexico
lust Octolier Wei went by way of
Toluca to Zacualpan and made our headquarters
at the Corqpas mines, from
which we made excursions into the surrounding
territory. (We visited many
mines of the Spanish age and many that
are now being worked to great profit and
wealth.
mc he Tolui'a.mines are, in the immedi
with the .same identical dtoffit formation
and ores as are the Carhoncillo and Coronas
mines, both producing fabulously
rich ores, the bonanza of the district
licing not only rich but producing ores
in great quantity.
On the part of the company, we have
acquired the Toluca mines, comprising
the ">C.\ IKK"' and the"T< mine,
the former licing known in antigna times
as the '"Vara." These mines were selected
and acquired for the company
after the inspection of many properties.
We explored the ancient workings as far
as we could and with pick and hammer
in solid roek procured {samples of the
formation and the ore in the rock, the
ores, u|vin assay, showing high values.
Tin* mines are splendidly located for
milling, having sutlieimt water on the
property for ordinary pi r poses and there
is an abundance of tinier in the immediate
neighborhood.-..^be projierties are
