HOLMES, Real Estate, Stocks, Fire Insurance. News from Sedafla. . I feel very little like writing this morning, as I'm sitting around the fire nursing a small spell of grippe. Miss Minnie Lou Bobo, teacher of the New Prospect school, has been right sick for several days, but is some Lbetter at this writing. Her parents, Mr .and Mrs. W. Fowler Bobo, stayed with her for a few days. Her mother | is still at her bedside. Mr. and Mrs. Lowry Webber, of i Wilkinsville, arc visiting the lattcr's j 'parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Estes, and ; 'wil stay over for the Murphy-Estes wedding, which happy event is to be j Wednesday evening. I Mr. Boyd Bobo and sister, Miss Lizizie, of the Cross Anchor section, spent Saturday night with relatives in this tcction. Mr. Bobo had other business round here, too, I presume. Mr. B. B. Betsill, one of Cross Anchor's most popular young men, but how of Greenwood, was among his many friends here yesterday. Mr. J. A. Bailey, one of our young farmers, has hit on a rather novel way of helping out his short cotton crop, that of catching minks and selling their hides, he having sold four since Christmas, amounting to the neat turn of $15.75. Who can beat that on links, I wonder? B. B. "WHISKEY" COLD GURES. Danger of Using AMollc Mixtures or Coal Tar Tablets. The most dangerous thing that one can do when affected wtih a cough or cold is to use a medicine that contains whiskey or a tablet that is made of some coal tar product. Putting aside all moral objections to filling up with whiskey or drugs because one has a cold, the injurious physical effect should be sufficient to keen one from using these strong medicines. The most sensible as well as the only scientific way to treat a cough or cold is by inhaling medication that will kill the germs and give relief to the irritated mucous membrane in the nose, throat and lungs. Among the few remedies that are used in this way, Hyomei stands preeminent. It is breathed through a neat pocket inhaler that comes with every outfit, and the first breath of its healing air relieves the irritation, and its continued use soon effects a thorough cure. The best people in Union always keep Hyomei at hand in the winter months, and at the first symptoms of a cold or bronchial trouble, use the remedy and prevent serious and lasting illfiess. If you have any doubts as to the effects of Hyomei in curing coughs, I colds and all bronchial troubles, the | guarantee Palmetto Drug Co. give with every outfit should convince you of its I curative powers. A Hyomei outfit costs'$i. and if it does not give satisfaction, Palmetto Drug Co. will return your money. Extra bottles of Hyomei, if needed, can be obtained for 50c, but the complete outfit is usually enough to cure several colds. Citation to Kindred and Creditors.
