the Convention. Sweet songs were
sung at intervals hy the congregation,
led hy Mrs. J. T. Sewtt and
J. A. Lancaster at the organ. It
was agreed that another convention
for the township should lie held in
the fall. The convention adjourned

night. Mr. Wilson is well known
to the people of Jonesville, having
preached his lirst sermon here, and
occupied the parsonage here for the
lirst two years of its existence.
Thirty-live years of hard work as a
minister in the South Carolina conference
begins to tell on Mr. Wilson,
hut he still preaches with vim
and power.
Mr. J. I.. MeWhirter has returned
from his trip to New Orleans
and Ti xas. lie visited Dallas,
Sherman and several small towns
in Texas, lie says they are having
too muelr rain in the part of Texas
l.e visited. He likes the country
well, but does not brag on tinwater.
Miss Ann lianas, who lias been
-pending the winter in Deland,
Florida, is visiting relatives in
