RESOLUTIONS Of SYMPATHY
AND RESPECT. |
Of The Woman's Home Missionary
Society Upon the
Death of Mrs. P. E. Pant.
Whereas, it hath pleased Our
Heavenly Father in His supreme
wisdom to remove by death from
our Society, our beloved sister,
Mattie Fant,
Resolved, That we deeply deplore
her loss and tender our warmest
sympaty to her bereaved husband,
brothers and sisters.
Resolved, That her sunny temper,
bright intelligence, kind manner
and untiring energy in her efforts
for the advancement of God's
Kingdom , had endeared her to every
member of the Society, and that
these lovely traits of character shall
linger in our hearts as a fragrant
memory of her worth and noble
womanhood. 4
Resolved, That we submit with
reverence to God's will, knowing
that "Our loss is her gain," that '
she sweetly rests from pain and
sorrow and sleeps in Jesus.
Resolved, That a blank page in
the Minutes of our Society 1h> dedicated
to her memory with her name <
and date of her death.
Resolved, That a copy of these
resolutions be presented to her
family.

RICE
Rice has been cultivated from
time immemorial.
It forms a larger part of human
food than the product of any
other one plant?it is an almost
exclusive diet in the tropical
countries.
Rice, combined with fattv or
nitrogenous substances, such as
milk or gravy, is sufficient to
satisfy the requirements of the
human system.
But like all other food products,
there is a rice of high and low
degree. \*J
Our Rice is Strictly
High Grade.
It is thoroughly cleaned of
husks, broken grains and dust,
and leaves our store in an absolutely
clean and pure state.
Rice is one of our staple articles.
We sell barrels upon barrels of
it.
Ever drink rice?milk? ^
It's a great drink in England.
Made of boiling milk and thickening
it with rice.
Nourishing and refreshing.
Try it sometime. ^
Don't worry about our prices? ^
they are lower than you could
hope to find them.
