lic it ordained by the Mayor and Aldermen
of the Town of Union, South
Carolina, in Council assembled and by
authority of same:
Section i. That it shall be unlawful for
any driver of a hack or other vehicle
used for transporting passengers to hlock
the approaches to the Passenger Depot
of the Southern Railway Company in the
Town cf Union, South Carolina, and all m
such hacks and vehicles, except when re- I
ceiving passenger* and while passengers
, thereof are alighting from same,shall he
aligned along the curhway on the opposite
side of the street from said depot.
Any person convicted of a violation of
this ordinance shall be fined not more
more than Ten Dollars ($10.00) or imprisoned
not more than Thirty (30) Days.
Done and ratified In Council assembled,
[under the Corporate Seal of the
Town of Union, South Carolina, on this
the sixth day of March, A. I). 1905.

South Carolina, of a majority of the
freeholders of said town of Union,

per centum per annum, payable
annually, said bonds payable forty
years after date, with the privilege of
redemption after twenty years from
date, to be issued for the purpose of
liquidating the indebtedness of the
town of Union, to wit: 1st. Six thousand
dollars ($U,(X)0) for its sewerage
system; 2nd. Four thousand dollars
for its sidewalks: and 3rd, Fifteen
thousand dollars ($15,000) for its deficit
On its electric lights and waterworks,
namely, a total indebtedness of
twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000)"
: It appearing to the satisfaction of
the town council of Union that the
petition is signed by a majority of the
, freeholders of said town and it further
appearing that the aggregate bonded
. indebtedness of said town of Union

Electors desiring to vote for the issue
of twenty-five- thousand dollars
($25,000) coupon bolids, bearing interest
at a rate not exceeding four and
one-half (41) per centum per annum,
payable annually, said bonds payable
forty years from date, with privilege
of redemption twenty years from date,
for the purpose of paying said indebtedness,
will deposit a ballot written
or printed thereon, the following:
