Dear Sir; This story cuts two ways,
and teaches two sets of people.
Father Galvin, Westerly, tt. I, had
his church and residence painted. Good
job: and this is how lie went at it.
Measured all carefuliy?seems to hive
known Devoe.
Then he got bids from the painters,
paint to t>e supplied by him and by them.
Saved $70 by using Devoe,

Charles Dennlson Kellogg, who appears
at the opera house on Friday,
Nov. 20, in his lecture recital, "With
Nature and Birds," contradicts by
the remarkable range of his voioe the
computations of scientists to tho effect
that the human voice has not
more than 10.000 vibratory tones
audiabls to the human ear.
Mr. Kellogg demonstrates that he
can produce It),f)C>0 tones. That is
more than nine and one-half octaves.
He perfectly reproduces tho songs of
birds, and in bird voice renders such
classics as Mos/kowski's serenata,
"Le Deal," "Narcissus" and "The
Mocking Bird." This is the most
superbly illustrated Lecture-Recital
ever presented to the public.
