The houst was beautifully decorated in pink and white roses. The feature of the evening 6 was a guessing contest of tlie different " advertisements. The guests all bad a very happy evening and were sorry when tbe short hours had fled e Mrs. H. L. Scaife entertained or Tuesday afternoon from six to eight ir honor of her sister, Miss McCaslin ot Clinton. The feature of this afternooc was a sofa pillow contest. Each guesi was given a needle, thread and thimbh 'e and asked to work her name on a (quart a of linen which will be made into a soft pillow.
