Sec. 1. That, in pursuance of the*
power and authority vested in the Council
of the aforesaid town of Union by it*
charter from the General Assembly of
the State of South Carolina, the sidewalks
on both sides of Main street between
the intersections of the said street
with Judgment and Church streets in
the said town of Union be narrowed audi
diminished in width by cutting from
the said side-walks on the outer edget
towards the centre of the said Main
street and within the aforesaid limits
as much as four (4) feet, so as to reduce
the said side-walks within the said limits
to as near a uniform width as practicable.
Sec. 2. That, further, the said sidfi
walks on both sides of the said Main
street within the limits above presoribed.
