He it ordained by the Mayor s ml Aldeiuien
of the town of Union, S. C., in
Council assembled and by the authority
of same.
That every person, firm, company or
corporation engaged in, or intendir g to
< ngage in any trade business or p.ofe 1
ion hereinafter mentioned, within th
limits of ti e town of Union, shall lirs
obtain a license from the said Clerk and
Treasurer, and all licenses herein mentioned
shall he non-transferable except
by special permission from the Mayor 01
Town Council, and per annum, it' not
otherwise specially provided. And all
lictnsts shall expire on May 1, 11M4, but
may he revoked at any tiuiu by the
Mayor or Town Council.

and that he shall keep his books
open from the first day of May, next,
to the first day of June, 1903, for
this purpose; after which timo he,
shall proceed by distress or otherwise,
as prescribed by law, to collect
